Additional Pickles To Pittsburgh Information

In this charming sequel to the classic Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs, Kate and Henry eagerly await Grandpa's return from a vacation that his postcard says has been one of the best and most unusual ever. Thinking about that postcard Kate drifts off to sleep that night and... "With Henry as my co-pilot..." she visits the strange land of Chewandswallow -- a land characterized by massive amounts of food, immense carrots, leafy jungles of lettuce, and tuna fish sandwiches so gigantic they have to be moved by helicopter. What the people of Chewandswallow are doing with all that food is most intriguing of all. Fans of Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs will applaud this return trip with its underlying message of generosity and a world community.

What Customers Say About Pickles To Pittsburgh:

I gave this book, along with several others to one of my nieces who loves books; I'm told she loved it.
Great author. He loves Cloudy with a Chance of meatballs and looks forward to seeing the movie. My grandosn loves this sequel. His parents read it to him as soon as he received it.
I do recommend this for children(around 8 years old) who already have the Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs book. It seemed as though the author just decided to write a book with a bunch of pages full of giant food with a lackluster plotline. This book, Pickles to Pittsburgh, is the sequel to one of my favorite books as a child, Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs. The sequel did not meet up to my expectations and there did not seem to be as much imagination to the story as the first one.
I had such high hopes for this book, and was really excited when I found it. Pickles To PittsburghThis book is definitely not as good as Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. :( I feel like I wasted my money. I was rather disappointed in it, actually. It's pretty pointless compared to the first and sadly unimaginative.
But borrow it from a library. Maybe. You will be happy to return it & not have paid to purchase it. VERY DISAPPOINTING SEQUEL: This book regurgitates too much of the 1st book. Worth reading.
